News from the Carrboro Farmers' Market
Mark your calendars - the Carrboro Farmers' Market hours are changing soon! The Wednesday afternoon market will start back up again on Wednesday, March 17, and the Saturday morning market will expand to main season hours, 7 a.m. to noon, starting Saturday, March 20.
Our wonderful Wednesday market runs from 3 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday afternoon until Thanksgiving. This market is a great low-traffic option with lots of variety, ample parking, and all your favorite vendors! It's a convenient stop on your way home from work or school. We will be offering take-home kids activities through our Market Bunch kids club every month: thanks to a grant from Carolina Farm Credit, we are also able to offer $5 coupons to all kids who participate to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables at the Market.
You can use your SNAP/EBT benefits at the Carrboro Farmers' Market! We offer unlimited Double Bucks to SNAP/EBT customers: for example, $20 from your EBT card = $40 to spend at the market. We also offer Double Bucks to WIC FMNP and Seniors FMNP customers: $15 in WIC FMNP checks = an additional $15 to spend at the market. Out of benefits on your EBT, P-EBT, or e-WIC card? We do a cash match! Bring a friend who uses one of the above programs and we'll give you each an extra $5 in tokens. Stop by the Welcome Booth for more information. Se habla Español!
