PARKING
For detailed information on Festival parking and transportation, please visit the Festival website and click on the Parking link. We highly-encourage festival attendees to walk or bike to the venues if possible. We need to be able to accommodate our performers and allow them to park in designated areas near their respective venues, so public parking may be limited in some lots. If attending the festival by car, please utilize the FREE park & ride shuttle from the Jones Ferry Rd. lot.
If you are driving into the downtown area, parking lots at Carrboro Elementary School (400 Shelton St.) and Piedmont Health Services (301 Lloyd St.) will be available for public parking. We also highly-encourage carpooling for those who are driving.
Please note that due to street closures and performer parking, the following public parking lots will be unavailable for public parking:
303 W. Weaver St.
200 E. Main St. (located off of Roberson St. near Armadillo Grill)
100 N. Greensboro St. (Lot across from the Century Center- No public parking with the exception performers and disability parking with valid tag in designated spaces)
301 W. Main St. (Parking at Town Hall will be limited to performers and disability parking with valid tag in designated spaces)
We ask that festival-goers also park only in designated areas. Please do not block ingress/egress of town streets. Please also take care to not block access to residential and commercial driveways.
Please exercise caution if driving through the downtown area, as there will be a large number of pedestrians walking between the various venues throughout the day. We want to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience at the event.
