The Carrboro Recreation & Parks Department's Fall Brochure is now available!
The brochure covers registration for our programs with start dates from September through December, including our popular Youth Basketball Leagues. Fall is also festival season, so please continue to check our website for updates on the Carrboro Music Festival, the Carrboro Film Festival, and the West End Poetry Festival. Bring the kids out and join us during our annual Halloween Carnival or International Tennis Carnival. Fall is also the time for our annual Kids' Dog Show, Kidical Mass Bike Event, and our 'Cleaning Carrboro' volunteer event.
If you are interested in finding an instructional class, check out our Youth, Teen, and Adult programming sections for a variety of opportunities. New this Fall are a Parent/Guardian & Child Bicycle Fix-a-flat Workshop and a Teen Bicycle Maintenance and Best Practices Workshop. In November, celebrate National Take a Hike Day with our 'Take a Kid Hiking' event at Wilson Park and the Adams Tract.
Registration for these programs and much more begins Wednesday, August 28th at 8:30am for Carrboro Residents.
Registration for all other participants will begin on Thursday, August 29th at 8:30am.
Participants may register online via RecConnect* by clicking the RecConnect logo at www.carrbororec.org or in person at the Carrboro Century Center.
